Position involves day to day operation of the practice.
This includes drafting subpoenas, summonses, discovery demands, motions (New York/New Jersey); completing dictation in both Word and Wordperfect; filing through Ecourts (New Jersey/New York) and Pacer in Federal Courts; maintaining physical and virtual files; running calendar; sending billing (and follow-ups) to clients; paying invoices and recording receivables in Quicken/Quick Books; delivering and receiving information via Dropbox; and scheduling meetings, depositions, etc.
via Zoom or Teams.
Though focus is on avoiding overtime there are occasional instances where it is a must.
Benefits include health insurance, two weeks paid vacation and five paid sick days.
Possible to work virtually for some days.
Successful candidate will be reliable, loyal, a proactive self starter whi is disciplined, highly organized, detail orientated and resourceful.
