MFC Upstream Processes - Principal Product Manager

The Market Fulfilment Center team works closely with robotics and automation, to come up with innovative ideas to serve our customers.

What is a Market Fulfilment Center? These buildings contain fully automated robots which can store, pick, pack and dispense items ordered by Walmart customers including grocery and general merchandize.

Supply Chain Management experience, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Technology Product Management, Program Management, Distribution or Ecommerce Fulfillment background Automation & Robotics experience (not a must have) Cross-functional team management Supply Chain Operations Management You'll Make an Impact by Driving product lifecycle from requirement gathering, requirement writing, identifying, and measuring the value, partnering on the development, testing, and other launch efforts Defining vision and strategies for your product family, using domain expertise, internal and external best practices; identifying market opportunities, building business cases, and approving objectives Developing and enhancing products - you will manage product roadmaps, align business and technical needs, analyze customer and product data, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategy, and manage risks Help software engineers design and architect the best solution for technical needs.

Product Manager to lead the identification of problems to solve on the upstream space with a data driven approach.
Will focus on the FY24 goal of achieving 80% unit throughput on MFCs as well as the scalability of the 5 year MFC launch plan.
Will require 30-50% travel Lead and support the need for the discovery efforts in the upstream space needed to implement Hybrid MFCs as well as Stand Alone MFCs Spearhead the optimization of assortment and replenishment models for MFC, targeting efficient inventory metrics and the optimal use of shelf space within MFCs Focus on data pipelines from eligibility, assortment, replenishment and fulfilment to identify opportunity areas for products within the space Deep dive on level 1 and level 2 data to identify key features that need to be implemented to achieve an optimum throughput for the entire MFC program (Auto/Manual/Hybrid) Work with the upstream teams to create a scalable way to launch MFCs, minimizing steps and creating user friendly configuration strategies Pipeline to lead a team of product managers in the space Profile Peer Leader:
Looking for an individual with proven success on large team management and healthy team and stakeholder environments.
The role requires people leadership in the mid-term and will need to partner with several cross functional teams across operations, product management and global tech.
Data Expertise:
The upstream team requires (and currently lacks) data expertise, the ability to pull and data mine independently to be able to drive key decision making processes for the program.
The role requires the ability to analyze big data sets and extract key insight for assortment and inventory management models Technical Expertise:
This role interacts with 15
tech products, which are complex in nature due to the scale of Walmart and the use of legacy systems for stores.
