One of Medix's healthcare clients is hiring for a Quality Engineer.
It is hybrid remote and a contract to hire role.
They are based in Reston VA or Hoboken NJ.
Responsibilities:
Create team technology and process standards.
Write automated tests to ensure error-free code and performance.
All technical members of the team write automated tests, but you will lead the direction and strategy for that work.
Either individually or leading a team of resources, determines hardware/software systems requirements and leads systems hardware/software design.
Analyze, designs, programs, debugs, support, and modify software enhancements and new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs.
Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
May work with users to define system requirements or necessary modifications.
Requirements:
Strong proficiency in software testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
Experience in test automation using industry-standard frameworks (e.
g.
, Test Cafe, Jest, Selenium, Appium).
Proficiency in programming languages such as React JS, TypeScript, or Java.
Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices.
Familiarity with API testing, performance testing, load testing and security testing.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Front end and back end testing 3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications Write Automated test scripts CICD Pipeline Tools (Jenkins/Gitlab) Frameworks:
TestNG, Rest Assured, Karate SDET Experience, programming in ReactJS, Typescript, Java Working in relational/non relational databases Front end and back end testing experience Nice to Have Skills Background as a software engineer is highly desired Selenium/Cucumber Frameworks Best of Staffing Client list.
