Position Description:

We are seeking a Senior UI Developer to help shape and develop user interface of our new HTML5 web application.

This is a challenging and creative position that requires someone to think independently, but still work well with others. This is a chance to get in on the ground floor and make an impact on our new product line. It is an opportunity to work for a great company with smart people on a large system that is used worldwide.

The designer will produce wireframes, screen mockups and user flows during the analysis and design phases. The designs will then be implemented in HTML/CSS. This person will work closely with the Product Managers and Business Analysts in an iterative manner to design new features as well as improve upon existing features.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate and prepare the new look and feel for an entire product suite
Own the design standards across all products
Create wire frames, annotated screen mockups and sitemaps
Quickly design and develop front-end wireframes to demonstrate a particular user experience
Strong experience in designing and developing UI (including HTML prototypes) with Desktop, laptops, tablets and mobile for different browsers
Design and develop HTML/CSS pages
Hold committee (User feedback) design meetings, elicit feedback, get committee approvals for designs
Define UI features for our software to help facilitate application integration and improve usability
Understand and assist in the development of the architectural and navigational concept of the entire product suite
Support development in design sessions ensuring UI design meets the UI definitions
Conduct usability testing
Prepare system design documents, use cases, test cases and other systems documentation
Communicate clearly both verbally and through documentation
Always aware and gaining expertise in new design tools available for interactive development

Qualifications:
Solid understanding of CSS, HTML5, JavaScript and Ajax, capabilities of browsers and design constraints on the web across multiple platforms

A portfolio demonstrating your creativity and polish
Meticulous attention to detail

years of user interface design

years of application integration experience
5
years of usability expertise

years of systems analysis
Extensive knowledge of usability standards
Experience creating style guides, screen mockups and/or wireframes
Excellent documentation experience using appropriate tools
Excellent written, verbal, organizational and presentational skills
Excellent analytical ability and judgment
Excellent time management skills
Bachelor's Degree in one of the following: human
computer
interaction, computer science, information systems, graphic design or human factors
Require minimal supervision

Beneficial Skills:
Experience with Visio, Axure, iRise, MindJet, Omnigraffle, Balsamiq, Lucidchart
Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks (or equivalents)
Experience with agile development

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
