The Assistant/Associate Editor has responsibility for recommending, signing and developing new books and other products, in an agreed subject area, under the supervision of the Editor of the electrical engineering (EE) IA Product Line. In addition, The Assistant /Associate Editor will provide assistance and support to the IA Product line.
Requirements:
BA / BS level degree
Minimum of 2 years prior editorial experience
Some knowledge of the Global Research (STM) publishing industry
Demonstrated knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Windows
Well organized
Good written and verbal communication skills to assist incumbent Editor to meet program goals and targets
Team player
Significant customer facing skills to interact with authors, reviewers, etc
English
Some travel to attend conferences and meetings within North America is expected.
