## Job Description
This job is available only to undergraduate students with federal work-study. The student will perform duties related to Schaefer Center front desk supervision, fitness center monitoring. The fitness center student worker will be responsible for the smooth operation of the fitness center facility during their shift. Duties will include, but will not be limited to the following: wiping down all gym equipment, ensuring all patrons who enter facility carry valid membership identification, file administrative items, check-out equipment, ensure all patrons are working out in a manner that is safe for themselves and other patrons in the facility (includes not dropping weights, wearing proper gym attire, etc.). Workers may be asked to complete a variety of other tasks by members of the athletic department while they are on duty. The front desk student worker will have a variety of duties and responsibilities. The person's main responsibility will be to monitor the front desk and check ID's along with answering questions pertaining to all athletic facilities, making sure Stevens' guest are accompanied by a Stevens staff/student, sign in and pay the guest fee, answering the phone, unlocking facilities when needed and making sure athletic staff is notified when a package has arrived. The person will assist the front desk receptionist and the assistant to the athletic director with clerical work and will carry out tasks that will include but are not limited to maintaining the blackboard system (updating home events & giving access to the fitness center), doing the daily cleaning spreadsheet and running errands to other areas on campus. The student will work approximately 10-15 hours per week.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
