Position Summary
Responsible for provision of administrative support to Functional Managers in Finance. Provides internal support by implementing administrative systems, procedures and policies
Responsibilities
Provides administrative support to Functional managers in Finance by coordinating meetings and travel schedules; Creating and modifying documents using Microsoft Office. Performance of general administrative duties including faxing, mailing and filing and maintains the electronic filing system. Provides internal support focusing on continuous improvement of administrative processes and procedures.
Effectively escalates issues to appropriate area. Sets up and coordinates meetings and conferences. Maintains and coordinates records for staff which may include office space, phones, company credit card and other office equipment. May coordinate purchases for the department and processes expenses and invoices.
Performs general clerical duties, including but not limited to photocopying, faxing, and scanning. Handles incoming and outgoing mail.
Other duties as assigned
Education(degree / diploma)
Minimum high school diploma (secondary education) required.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years administrative assistant experience
Knowledge and skills(general and technical)
Strong knowledge and skill with Microsoft suite of products;
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Professional verbal and communication skills required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
