Senior Enterprise Architect

The Senior Enterprise Architect ensures that complex architecture decisions are implemented consistently across the organization in support of the business. The role operates in the Infrastructure domain, delivering target architectures to support application modernization and public cloud migrations to support the development of strategic technology investment plans and implementation roadmaps. The candidate must have at least one year hands-on experience with private and/or public cloud deployment models and architectures, including AWS, Azure, open source software, orchestration, automation and auto calling technologies. The ideal candidate will be directly responsible for leading architecture and engineering efforts to execute MMC's modernization strategy.
Responsibilities
Develops a culture of innovation, forward thinking and common understanding of the IT environment through the creation and evolution of reference architectures and technology strategies
Collaborates with technology teams and serves as a subject matter expert to develop, deliver and understand complex technology roadmaps covering infrastructure products and services.
Knowledge of Automation tools, Orchestration platforms, Container technologies and Stateless/Micro services. Thorough understanding of lifecycle management as it pertains to infrastructure and applications.
Knowledge of software-defined infrastructures and infrastructure as code solutions.
Understands complex OpCo (LOB) needs, constraints and technical interdependencies and articulates ways that systems can be used across the enterprise
Defines and maintains complex target technology architectures.
Active and advanced understanding of IT industry trends and enterprise standards and methodologies
Knowledge of complex enterprise systems and applications, and can be called upon to provide subject matter expertise in multiple areas in the infrastructure domain, including:
network, compute, storage, data, cloud and security. Reviews evolving designs of major technology projects to identify strategic opportunities and resolve design issues ensuring optimal delivery
Ensures IT projects align with strategic capabilities, target architectures and technology standards
Focus on business priorities and enablement
Design and delivery of cost effective and agile technology solutions
Identifies key technology enablers to optimize IT investments including new, trending and innovative uses of emerging enterprise technology platforms
Maintains a working knowledge of current and trending technologies both internally and within the industry, and their applicability to the organization
Maintains knowledge of advances in Technology, best practices, ITIL and industry standards.
Makes recommendations in the area of systems, standards and procedures
Works closely with IT leaders and gathers information regarding HW, SW, network and business architectures
Maintains a close relationship in order to influence key IT vendors and partners
Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed and logical discussions/presentations
Ability to analyze complex information and to evaluate the implications of a course of action or solution

Bachelors and / or Master's degree(s) in Engineering or Computer Science or MIS or equivalent degree / equivalent experience
5-7 years of experience in Enterprise / Infrastructure Architecture that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
Experience with public, private and hybrid Cloud Strategies and Technologies
Previous Infrastructure Architecture experience and prior experience in formulating requests for proposals, financial analysis, and statements of work
Working knowledge of virtualization technologies, strategies, and best practices for implementation and operations

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
